Why did you do it ten years ago? Simple; to avoid accountability by faking sincerity.
You don't support him now, after the consequences of the terrible policies of his you supported. Saying you support Bush now would invalidate any credibility you have. So it's obvious why you are pretending you never supported him, even though you and I both know you did.
What of Bush's policies were liberal?
