Well in that case what was it at swearing a violator of justice and ethics as in Kavanaugh? Was it as a result of antigovernment conspiring GOPer cronies and the #45 devil ramming this tyrant down America's throat who among his other deplorable and unethical moral legacy, perjured himself at a Congressional hearing. Yet his GOPer handlers in particular felonious and treasonous Graham defying the majority and the law at disgracing SCOTUS in such a way. Yeah right chief justice Roberts and it’s all happening under your authority that basically gave antigovernment conspiring GOPers aid and comfort instead of U.S. Constitutional law and the well being of society. Additionally society that needs a constitutionally compliant SCOTUS instead of a tRump, antigovernment conspiring GOPer and Putin SCOTUS of crony atrocities. Indeed, what a legacy to which your grandchildren will be exceedingly proud of you?!

Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. began the Supreme Court’s term last fall seeking to assure the American public that his court does not “serve one party or one interest.”

He will end it playing a pivotal role in two of the most politically consequential decisions the court has made in years.
One initiative is to include a citizenship question in the 2020 Census, which has fueled a partisan showdown on Capitol Hill. The other could outlaw the partisan gerrymandering techniques that were essential to Republican dominance at the state and congressional level over the past decade.

Every decent university has provided clean districting to states that asked. it is not that hard. The Repubs just do not want it.
The king of evil redistricting recently died and he not only admitted that he was doing it for Repub advantage but he had a cure for redistricting on his computer.
 
The Supremes have goons like Thomas on the court that taints these last couple decades with an ugliness. But since it is the Robert's Court, he has little more at stake. This is already the most pro-corporate, anti-worker court in history. It is way conservative and serves the interests of the rightys and the powerful. History books will record the Roberts Court negatively. Roberts has broken ranks on a couple cases that were just going too far. Read the posts. That makes him fail the purity test and he is a turncoat.
