Lee was one of America's best generals, and a fine gentleman. You libs couldn't hold a candle to the man.
He was treasonous to the United States. His “cause” led to the deaths of 600,000 people.

Those charging up the hill in Gettysburg would likely disagree with the assessment.
Look up how many died from both sides at Gettysburg. Keep in mind Lincoln offered Lee command of the army, Lee turned him down. Lee was loyal to his state, not the country.
Well, not really, he lost.

Yep, he was a traitor to his country.
That doesn't take away the fact that he was a great general.
Yep, he was a traitor to his country. He and his fellow traitors led to the death if 600,000+ people.
You think being “a great general” balances that equation?
Yep, he was a traitor to his country.
You seriously believe that the Toadstool studied military tactics and in particular R.E. Lee's? Bwhahahahaha!
You guys are constantly telling us that context is everything. So here's the Toadstool, defending himself against righteous charges that he stuck up for Nazis and white supremacists, making it political about R.E. Lee. Okay then. Apparently there is no low to how low you all will crawl to make excuses for this POS.

Actually well over one million died. It's pretty ironic that Lincoln 'freed the slaves' so that they could die instead from starvation, cholera and smallpox. The North did little to help and it is well documented that Union soldiers were overtly racist and extremely brutal in their treatment of blacks.

The left has been fighting the "United" States for the past 2 years. They succumbed to Russia's division tactics.
It's not like the South was at a significant strategic disadvantage or anything. Totally even field. The Civil War was like a chess match. Whichever side had the better general was going to win, right?
