Looks like Brexit unlikely!

GB stays in!!!!

That would be nice. We'll see.

Here's my own favored solution: Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland secede and form a Celtic Confederation with the Republic of Ireland, staying in the EU, London and its suburbs secede and form an independent city-state that stays in the EU, and the balance of the UK is left to deal with its problems.

Most Brits want to remain in the EU, according to polling, but breaking up the UK would give more of the minority that wants to leave the opportunity to do so.

^^ Fascists hate democracy.

:smh:

51.9 per cent of those voting supported leaving the EU. Yet the British Parliament says FU to their voters. Why pretend this is democracy?

The other night they had eight different non-binding votes on different scenarios and not one of them got a majority. I can't see how a General Election can be avoided unless we just leave on 12th April on a no deal. That suits me fine, to be honest.

I suspected it for some time but this post confirms it, you're an effing lunatic with absolutely no understanding of UK/EU laws and politics.

The American voters elected Hillary Clinton with a majority of the votes, and yet you celebrated government by the minority and danced with glee that the Republican Party was rewarded with a stranglehold on the federal government even when most voters voted against them.

We don't elect Presidents with a popular vote you dishonest ignorant asswhipe. We are a Republic of States you whiny moron.

They will , eventually, agree to revoke Particle 50. The exposure of Westminster's workings has portrayed the Conservatives as self-aggrandizing rogues - of around the same quality of moral standard as maggot.

What makes you think that? Were you unaware that the polls showed majority support for "remain"?

That's what they said just before the vote in 2016!! Anyway I was referring to your hogwash about a Celtic Confederation. Only somebody who has absolutely no understanding of the UK or the EU would suggest such a thing. Just for the record, although born in England both my parents were Irish Catholics, so don't try and pull some racist crapola on me!!

As I said, the Brexiteers got away with one, by essentially catching the majority sleeping. It was what I'd call a Yates Election, in that the best lacked all conviction and the worst were full of a passionate intensity. But now, the majority has been made highly aware of the stakes and the real risk of the morlocks actually winning at the ballot box, and so they're likely to show up in decent numbers. And that's why the Brexiteers are so dead set against a second vote.

Obviously not. I have a strong understanding of the UK and the EU and suggested such a thing. Probably where you fucked up here is that you read poorly and misunderstood, thinking that I'm saying that outcome is likely, rather than merely saying it's my preferred solution. I realize it's not actually going to happen for a whole host of reasons. I'm just saying I wish it would.

Why would that be nice? They had an election, the Brits decided they wanted to leave.

We have enough arrogant arseholes over here thinking that they are so much more intelligent and aware than Brexiteers. But then again you were convinced that Trump was a Russian Manchurian Candidate planted by Putin are terrified of, screw them!!

Looks like Theresa May will now go and either Michael Gove or Boris Johnson become PM, they may or may not choose to call an election. Sadly it looks like both main parties would lose seats and there will be yet another hung parliament. To my mind the impasse can only be resolved by leaving with a no deal, that's the only thing that the likes of Macron, Merkel and that Euronazi Martin Selmayr aka the Monster from Berlaymont.
