Like what measures? Tariffs? How does that take a measure against globalization?
What it has done has replaced US farmers with global farmers to meet the demand, while also increasing costs to consumers because tariffs are always borne by consumers.
So congrats, your policies only speed up globalization.
I notice a lot of what Conservatives promise like this is always in the present tense. That's deliberate. They are setting artificial goalposts now that they will continually move. This was the same promise made last year, and the year before that by the same people. Nothing's being undone. If anything, because y'all are economic illiterates, you're making things worse. Like having to bail out farmers because of shortsighted trade policy.

Sounds to me like globalism is leaving you behind and you're pretty steamed about it.

Well, you're half-right.
I don't care about "winning" or whatever that is supposed to mean. What I care about is whether or not American workers can subsist on wages without getting any kind of government assistance. The free market has failed in that regard, IMO. What I also care about is that service workers, particularly those in home health care, are paid a living wage so that they don't have to rely on assistance programs to bridge the gap between the wage they get for thankless work, and what they need to survive.
And you think Trump, the guy who gets money only from one German bank and who has global deals (including global deals for his kids, like Ivanka's East Asian sweatshops), is the one to stick his neck out for you and your concerns?
Take a second and really consider that.
