Some large people are mentally focused, have energy and discipline, and are not lazy.

Trump is the worst possible combination of laziness, obesity, and stupidity. Which might be okay if one is selling frozen steak products, but it is not a good combination for President of the United States.

I imagine all the ppl who were so terribly offended by Michelle Obama's focus on health and nutritious food have been breathing sighs of relief now that it's okay to be a fat bloated idiot again.

The question should be ' If Biden runs and is the democratic nominee in 2020 - will ALL liberals vote for him?" Or will the Bernie supporters once again express their disappointment by giving trump 4 more fucking years?"

It all comes down to health, physical fitness, and ability to do the job.

Jerry Brown is very fit for an 80 year old guy. 55 year old Chris Christie tried to make light of Brown's age, and Brown challenged him to a fitness contest.

“I hereby challenge Gov. Christie to a 3-mile race, a pushup contest and a chin-up contest,” Jerry Brown said. “Whatever he wants to bet, I have no doubt of the outcome.”

I think we can all agree that the 80 year old Jerry Brown is in better physical shape, and could run laps around a lot of out-of-shape wingnut message board posters who are half Jerry's age. Donald Trump would have a heart attack trying to keep up with Brown.
 
I really would like to see someone young and energetic face off against old fat Rump.

Maybe someone who jogs and there can be video of them out jogging between stops on the campaign trail, what a great visual.

Rump can waddel up to the podium.

Only my opinion but, I think Biden is the only one of the couple dozen contenders so far who COULD beat Trump. If the DNC nominates any of the other fragile emotional fringe left, it will be Trump in a landslide. Yeah, Biden's older and has had moments of foot-in-mouth disease, parts of his past can be cringe worthy (like every pol)......but in reality, I think there would be a ton of support for him from heartland traditional Dems. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks, nice analysis. I love Joe Biden and know he could easily beat Trump. But.... it's time for my generation and those even older than me to step aside and let our kids take the reins of power. I don't want to vote for a candidate JustBecauseHeCanBeatTrump. The few who voted for Trump because he represented a change from same-old-same-old got respect. The ones who voted for him because racist, misogynist, hater, not-Hillary get no respect. I would even consider a younger (R) candidate as long as he/she was a centrist, non Reich-winger. They certainly exist at the state and local level. I'm not really sure why the centrists of either party get tossed out of the bus on their way to DC. You?

Great optics but I don't care so much about that although health is important! I want younger as in more mentally and emotionally fit, more representative of America as a whole (not just us old white fucks), someone able to deal with a rapidly changing world, someone not ethnocentric but more globally-focused. Oh, and someone reasoned, rational, and intelligent.

Damn you, Obama. Please come back. lol
