He/Bannon promised to destroy the nation. They aren't quite there yet, but it's a good start.

Ummm ... the "repub" House did pass a budget bill that included $5.7 billion for wall funding.

The 5.7 billion passed the House, but failed to garner enough democrat support in the Senate to meet the 60 vote threshold.

Being in Md., I'm not going to complain about 'cold" to a New Yorker, lol. :0)

They didn't care about that. They were too busy trying to take healthcare away from millions of people, and creating huge budget deficits via tax giveaways to billionaires/corporations.

Now it's an emergency?

Edit...if you remember, trump had about $40 billion in his pocket, but backed off at the last minute in denial of DACA.

Because it should have not been that complicated and hard to get funding for national border security.
 
The president was expecting Congress to do their duty and secure our border. They did not and he did his and declared a national emergency.

The president has the authority to declare a national emergency as he sees fit. Of course the Ninth will say differently but President Trump will prevail at the Supreme Court. This will take months and more illegals (non-citizens) will pour across our borders which is what Democrats wanted. Potential (and actual) illegal Democrat votes. Party ahead of the security of the American people.
