There Are 7.3 Million Job Openings, Not Enough Americans To Fill Them. We Need Immigrants.

The number of job openings reached 7.3 million at the end of 2018, the highest level since the Labor Department started measuring them in 2000. That pushed the job opening rate -- the number of openings as a share of total employment -- back to the high it reached last August.

The reading suggests that the labor market remains very strong, despite nearly universal forecasts that the economy will slow toward the end of the year. That has prompted the Federal Reserve to hold off hiking interest rates for at least the next several months.

No, we need robots.

We have robots. They are the reason why American manufacturing productivity has continued to be strong, despite so many companies rushing off to open factories in other countries.

Periodically there are shortages in the field of nursing. Would you like a robot nurse? What if it doesn't put the thermometer the right orifice? lol

remember back in 2011 when 'Bama kicked the undocumented workers out of that shithole state?........too funny!

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Jerry Spencer had an idea after Alabama's tough new law against illegal immigration scared Hispanic workers out of the tomato fields northeast of Birmingham: Recruit unemployed U.S. citizens to do the work, give them free transportation and pay them to pick the fruit and clean the fields.

After two weeks, Spencer said Monday, the experiment is a failure. Jobless resident Americans lack the physical stamina and the mental toughness to see the job through, he said, and there's not much of a chance a new state program to fill the jobs will fare better.

Then they'd be on par with the CNAs I often encounter, only less fuckable.
