We will not cave to what they or their constituents want.

We will accept them with open arms but they must support our agenda.

It is obviously embarrassing to have to continue to defend the Party of Trump.

It takes someone who utterly lacks self-respect, honor, and dignity to continue to spend countless hours running cover for a dude who is quite obviously the stupidest, least capable, most inarticulate, and most dim-witted person ever to be allowed to hold the office of the presidency.

Conservatism, such as it is, simply does not exist anymore. A political party is utterly spent ideologically and philosophically when the best argument they can muster to justify their party is:

The Republican party is an embarrassment to any thinking member. Trump took it over without a fight and he treats the Red senators and congressmen like illegal workers. He runs their lives and controls them.
