Israel started the 1967 war by attacking Egypt when Egyptian troops were deployed in Yemen.. They planned the war since 1952-53.. Read Sharrett and Moshe Dayan. They wanted more land and water.

Egypt had initiated a blockade and mobilized troops on the border, but, do prattle on with your KSA propaganda. Also , Nasser had expelled UN peacekeepers.

The Berlin Wall utterly discredited the totalitarian communism of the eastern bloc, and helped unify western resistance to the USSR and Warsaw Pact.

That is most certainly not what the designers of the Berlin Wall intended.

For two generations, the wall stood as a grim and ugly reminder of the efforts of reactionaries, dictators, and totalitarians to divide people, to curtail freedom.

What the Berlin Wall actually did was provide the most visible and iconic image of the failure of Marxism-Leninsim, and it elevated the perception and moral authority of the western liberal democracies in stark contrast.

That is exactly why it was such a huge deal when the wall fell in 1990.

If Nasser had not shut down the Strait of Tiran to Israel there would have been no war. Of course they all learned the hard way about starting one with Israel.

I understand all that. I am not a proponent of the wall or what it stood for. I am stating, once again, it did what it was intended to do.

That was basically BS.. No Israeli flagged ship had passed thru the Strait of Tiran for 14 months BEFORE the closure.

Israel set it up and played the victim .. and the Soviets were in it up to their eyeballs. You might want to do some serious reading.. The Polish archives have been declassified and all that is available at the Wilson Center website.

The West Bank was beautiful.. Lots of Almond trees and ancient olive trees and Pomegranates .. Christians and Muslims lived there side by side in peace.

No he didn't.. LOLOL Read Moshe Dayan.. The Israelis planned provocations for a decade..many armed incursions into Lebanon and Syria, stealing topsoil and killing small groups of farmers.. It was all very deliberate.

They even tried diverting Lebanese Rivers into Israel. They were damaged by WW2 and the Holocaust. Read Truman's letters to Eleanor Roosevelt.. He despairs that the Jews became bullies as soon as they got the upper hand.
