There was no compelling need for Obama to go on TV on announce that he got OBL. That could have waited till they had time to search OBL documents to see which terrorists were hiding where. A week would have been plenty of time.

I gave Obama a fair assessment on this. He should have got OBL but he was hasty in announcing it. They should have done a document search to see if OBL had information on the whereabouts of other al Qaeda members so we could have taken them out too.
If you think there was a compelling reason to blurt out to every al Qaeda member that ‘hey, we just nailed your boss!’ let’s hear it.

If there was a chance any lower al Qaeda members didn’t know about the attack—they surely knew after Obama told the world about it. And if there was ANY CHANCE they should have waited until they searched OBL’s documents.

Bush isn’t the subject.
The subject is whether it was absolutely necessary that Obama make the announcement when he did. It was great that Obama got OBL.
But it would have been greater had we used OBL’s hard drive or documents to get some other AQ members. Maybe the whole network knew what happened—and maybe they didn’t. Well never know because Obama made sure the whole world knew.
And see, I just gave Obama credit for getting OBL. I bet there’s not a single thing you can give Trump credit for.
