Conservatives drinking themselves to death out of DESPAIR

Let’s see who will be in despair if the democrats take over in couple years from now.
I’m retired so I don’t give a shit anymore.
In the future I see more taxes, higher costs, a slower economy, more regulations, companies leaving the country.
In the meantime I’m going to sit on the beach in Florida and drink my strawberry daiquiri.
Good luck in the future asshole your job just moved to Mexico.
I have heard more people are moving to Mexico because the cost of living is cheaper which raises the question why would you want to sneak across the border into the states to live in some slum house in the intercity.

Cash for clunkers no doubt. So are you willing to bet or not?

i really don't care what an anonymous poster like you thinks, just find it very telling when someone has shown a history of trying to convince others on a messageboard of their so called possessions.

A psychiatrist would have his work cut out with you

You mean like someone on an anonymous message board trying to convince others that they pay cash for their cars?

This isn't about what I think. You made a claim, and I challenged you to a bet on that claim. Obviously you're too much of a coward to accept the challenge.

Of course you're not counting senior citizens who count Social Security and Retirement Income as their income.

So once again you're deliberately excluding people all so you don't have to admit that Trump voters are poor white trash who are drinking themselves to death.

Most retired people collecting Social Security do not fall in the poor category--they have higher than average income. Again, your assumptions are wrong:

Age of Household Median Income Mean Income
Households Aged 55-64 $62,802 $89,986
Households Aged 65-74: $47,432 $68,905
Households Aged 75 and Older: $30,635 $45,989

[Census Bureau, 2016]

OK, so let's break this down once and for all using math.

We also know that income of $30K a year is the 67th percentile of income in the country. So we can extrapolate that of the 235,000,000 eligible voters, roughly 157,450,000 of them have an income at or below $30K.

This is where you are totally wrong. According to the Census Bureau the median individual income in 2016 was about $31,000. Median means half are above that number. So if 50% of workers make more than $31,000 that means $31,000 is the 50th percentile.

https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/MEPAINUSA672N

Or, if we use the Bureau of Labor Statistics data for 2016 the median weekly earnings for all full-time workers was about $830, or $43,000 per year. That means the 50th percentile was $43,000. (I guess the $31,000 number included all part-time workers)

https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/wkyeng.pdf

$30,000 is not the 67th percentile of workers. Those in the 67th percentile earned $89,000 in 2016.

https://dqydj.com/united-states-household-income-brackets-percentiles/

If we include retired and Social Security recipients their average income for those aged 55-and over is between about $46,000-$89,000.

https://www.census.gov/data/tables/time-series/demo/income-poverty/cps-hinc/hinc-02.html

All these numbers are from the Census Bureau and BLS.

You are including way too many voters in the "poor" category. So the poor white trash that voted for Trump and the poor black and brown trash that voted for Hillary are a much smaller group of the electorate than you project.

Except that 62,800,000 people considered "poor" (whose income is below $30K a year) voted in 2016, which was almost half of all votes cast.

Not true:

Those making below $30,000 made up only 28% of all voters--not more than half the voters. And Clinton won a majority of that category.

[Pew Research]

http://www.people-press.org/2018/08...he-2016-electorate-based-on-validated-voters/

"There also were wide income differences between voters and nonvoters. More than half (56%) of nonvoters reported annual family incomes under $30,000. Among voters, just 28% fell into this income category."

BULL-FUCKING-SHIT.

You are the one who made it about this.

Don't try and fucking gaslight me, asshole.

Thanks for telling me something I already told you literally in an earlier post.

If you knew half the workers make over $30,000, why did you claim $30,000 is in the 67th percentile?
