What is to defend?

I mentioned the title of this thread...and I mentioned that Flynn lied...AND ACKNOWLEDGED THAT HE LIED.

Frankly, the legal system is treating him decently...as it should.

In the meantime, I would do just about anything legal to finally rid our country of this disgusting, ignorant, classless, boor fouling up the Oval Office.

If you had any self-respect, you would be doing the same.

Yes, it’s quite possible to *commit crimes* in an attempt to get a conviction or a plea agreement. It’s distinctly possible—if not highly likely, that Flynn is the victim of a crime. If not several of them, starting with illegal unmasking.

Just say you’re ok with allowing for the abuse of power and criminal behavior in our justice system in order to get rid of Trump—and be done with it, Frankie.

And when we go full Banana Republic, be prepared to own it.

I don’t have a link but my understanding is that Flynn and Obama had a policy difference of opinion related to terrorism and that was the basis for the ‘warning’. They have smeared Flynn as a shady character that Trump should have avoided.

Anyone *sincerely* interested in criminality will give a hard look at what was going on *around* Flynn, rather than Flynn’s jay-walking. If 302’s were changed in order to nab Flynn, that constitutes a WAY bigger crime than anything Flynn did. The ONLY way the agents interviewing Flynn could have known what he told Kislyak would be if they unmasked Flynn and their conversation was disseminated within the agency.

Someone better have a damn good reason for that happening because that constitutes a crime—against Flynn!

That's true .. At the Pentagon Flynn was considered toxic and a disorganized bad manager. No one liked him. I think Trump hired him just to go against Obama.. and Obama's warning.

Trump's presidency is mired in obsessive envy and hatred of Obama. It goes back to Trump's claim that he'd sent investigators to Hawaii to prove Obama was born in Kenya.. and the hilarity everyone enjoyed when Trump made such a fool of himself at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner .

Remember how Trump had been demanding that Obama produce his birth certificate.

Trump's presidency is ALL about Obama.
