Congress is in a lame duck session, not much going on other than same scandal different day, and people have the holidays. It is the biannual political deadzone. The other being when Congress goes on summer recess when everybody else is either doing vacations or back to school stuff.

I'm not talking about action in Congress, I'm talking about the level of sincerity from Conservative posters since the election. I just don't buy the outrage, the sincerity, the urgency. Feels like they're just going through the motions now...like some kind of silent panic. That's why you're seeing all the trial lifeboats being floated; Conservatives are setting themselves up for another re-brand. That will be the third rebrand in 10 years. It's getting tiring.
