...if I were Jim Comey's lawyer...my advise to him would be, "Take the fifth" on many questionsl...especially since this is taking place behind closed doors.
My guess is that ANY competent lawyer would give him the same advise.
Jim Comey is an intelligent individual...and he would understand that no matter what, one should follow the advise of one's lawyer in a situation like this. Comey, if he is indeed invoking his Fifth Amendment privilege on certain questions (it is closed-session, so we don't know for sure)...is doing what any sane, intelligent person would do.
As for my response to what someone else said...that is part of these kinds of discussions. Just ignore them as irrelevant. I recognize that they are.
