There is a lot more to Luxembourg than you might imagine, Mullerthal is termed little Switzerland. I walked part of the Mullerthal trail many moons ago with a German mate, spent a lot of time getting pissed on Bofferding!

My Congressional District is ten times the square footage of the entire country of Luxembourg....with one and a half times the number of people. Of course it is larger than 6 US states as well.

Yeah...the cost.
Always a big factor.
But in the long run...it may save money rather than be a cost. If it helps us save the planet and humanity...is the "cost" too high?
If we can afford to build a nuclear dependent military that may help destroy humanity and the planet...why not find a way to afford the opposite?
Just imagine if the things you thought were FREE actually were.
The social welfare you receive isn't free. The honorable and responsible people willing to take care of themselves are forced to keep you alive by providing you something to eat. You should be allowed to starve.
So it's really not free like the false claim was made?
When it is truly free it should. Since nothing like that can ever be free, we'll wait and spend the money on something worthwhile.

Just imagine the cost of public transit workers!!!! I am not opposed to free public transportation, but government employment here in the US can be expensive, disproportionately so in a lot of places compared to private sector wages which is why people scoff whenever government workers act so put upon.
