Mueller says Manafort lied after pleading guilty, should be ...
..
The reversal exposes Manafort, 69, to more than a decade in prison and potentially sets back the Russia probe.

We know no one cares about Manafort. Does anyone even care who lies to Mullet any more lol?

But if Corsi is being forced to sign documents that attest to something that isn’t a true so Mullet can use it to black mail him into testifying—then Mullet is guilty of a serious crime.

Surely you aren't defending that idiot Corsi???

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort may have sabotaged his own plea deal with prosecutors by lying to federal investigators in the Russia probe after agreeing to cooperate with them.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller said in a new court filing late Monday that Manafort “breached” his agreement and “committed federal crimes” by "lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Special Counsel's Office on a variety of subject matters." The filing didn't specify what matters Manafort is accused of lying about, but the claim may dash his hopes of receiving a lenient sentence.

The court filing notes that any breach “relieves the government of any obligations it has under the agreement, including its agreement to a reduction in the Sentencing Guidelines.”

Manafort is due to face sentencing in February after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy against the United States and one count of obstruction as part of the plea agreement in September. According to that agreement, prosecutors had agreed to push for a reduction on the sentence of up to five years that each conspiracy count carries on the condition that he provide “substantial assistance.”

Manafort is also awaiting sentencing after his conviction in August in a separate case in Virginia, in which prosecutors said he could face up to a decade behind bars.

As part of his deal with the feds, Manafort also admitted to a slew of money laundering and foreign lobbying crimes and fraud crimes.

His alleged “breach” may open him up to additional charges for those offenses. The September plea agreement notes that prosecutors agreed not to bring criminal charges against Manafort for those other offenses—money laundering, false statements, tax offenses, bank fraud, and obstruction of justice—on the condition of his “full cooperation” with investigators.

Manafort has reportedly met with prosecutors at least nine times since agreeing to cooperate two months ago, providing hours upon hours of what was believed to be crucial testimony that could potentially implicate the president. While the special counsel’s office has not divulged details on what exactly Manafort is accused of lying about, Mueller’s bombshell announcement late Monday reignited speculation about whether the former political strategist could be protecting other members of Trump’s inner circle—or Trump himself.

Mueller’s office has said it will reveal more details about Manafort’s “breach” of the deal at a later date. Prosecutors are now asking a federal judge to set a sentencing date.

While both prosecutors and Manafort’s defense team signed off on the filing asking the judge to move toward sentencing, Manafort’s lawyers contended in it that he “has provided information to the government in an effort to live up to his cooperation obligations.”

Manafort, who appeared in court in a wheelchair in October and was said to be suffering from “significant” health problems, "believes he has provided truthful information and does not agree with the government's characterization or that he has breached the agreement,” the court filing said.

How do you know the documents are false?

How do we know they are true?

Sounds like Corsi and Mullet need to go before an independent judge. You’re supposed be able to maintain a claim of innocence until proven otherwise. I think I read that somewhere.

I have always considered Corsi a barking loon.

Mueller subpoenas Roger Stone associate and far-right conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi

The special counsel Robert Mueller has subpoenaed Jerome Corsi, a far-right political commentator and conspiracy theorist, to testify in the Russia probe.

Corsi's lawyer said the subpoena was not specific, but that he believes prosecutors will ask Corsi about his relationship with the GOP strategist Roger Stone, who has long been in Mueller's crosshairs.

Asked what he thinks Corsi may be questioned about, Stone responded with a link to an Infowars article that Corsi wrote last year, which claimed he was responsible for Stone's tweets about WikiLeaks during the 2016 campaign.

What does any of that have to do with Russians or the election lol?!

What do you think should be done with Mullet if he’s blackmailing Corsi into signing false documents?

Lest anyone forget what an all around skank Corsi is.........

The New York Times‘ Maggie Haberman reported Wednesday afternoon that Special Counsel Mueller has subpeoened Roger Stone-connected “birtherism conspiracy theorist” and author Jerome Corsi.

Corsi is also connected to InfoWars’ Alex Jones.

Corsi has written books like “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” “Partners in Crime: The Clintons’ Scheme to Monetize the White House for Personal Profit,” “Who Really Killed Kennedy?: 50 Years Later: Stunning New Revelations About the JFK Assassination,” and “Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump.”

Corsi has been subpoenaed to appear Friday before a grand jury.

According to the Times, Corsi’s lawyer David Gray believes Mueller is going to ask about Corsi’s conversations with Stone.

Gray said his client “intends to comply with the subpoena.” Mueller is reportedly looking into Stone’s connection to the hacked DNC internal emails that were dumped on WikiLeaks before the 2016 election, as well as Stone’s contact with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

We already knew that Mueller might be closing in on Stone given the number of those connected to him who have been subpoenaed by the special counsel. Stone himself is well aware of it.

Stone recently sent out an email to supporters asking for legal aid in advance of a supposed frame-job by Mueller, who he identified as an agent of the “deep state.”

Stone said Mueller is attempting to “frame” him.

“Robert Mueller is coming for me,” Stone said. He claimed to be on a “hit list” and later said in a text that Mueller “may frame [him] for some bogus charge […] to silence me or induce me to testify against the president.”

This happens after former Stone aide Andrew Miller was held in contempt for ignoring Mueller’s subpoena. Miller lost a challenge of Mueller’s authority and is now appealing that ruling.

In recent days, the so-called “Manhattan Madam,” Kristin Davis, another former aide to Stone, agreed to a voluntary interview.

Then there’s Randy Credico, a radio host/comedian acquaintance of Stone’s, who Stone reportedly asked to contact Assange. He also was subpoenaed by Mueller and said he planned to comply.

One other thing Mueller was reportedly looking into regarding Stone was “threatening emails.”

The mob would consider him a "stand up" criminal.

I didn't learn anything though. What did he say, what was lied about. Nothing.

Corsi is just another one of Trump's skanks.

Corsi has been on the shit-list ever since he wrote his book on Obama.

If the man claims to be innocent he gets to plead his case before a judge before signing any of Mullet’s papers. Or have we gone full Banana Republic?
