This is what terrifies Trump and the GOP

Never seen you comment on that.

to be honest, I've never seen anyone actually say that.......if I had, I would say it was wrong.......now that I have seen you say it, I would say you are wrong.......

You know what, you're not wrong. The stereotyping isn't a good thing although most of us do it (myself included).

California is the largest state in the Union and had two Democrats running for the Senate seat. So Republicans got zero votes in California but it's irrelevant, it's still one Senate seat.

Do what you have to do to make yourself feel good but those numbers are basically meaningless.

LOL... I was going to point that out as well. Poor things got to have some hope to cling to.

Hello cawacko,

You know what, you're not wrong. The stereotyping isn't a good thing although most of us do it (myself included).

It behooves us all to engage in a bit of introspection from time to time. Kudos to you for being open about it.

It also works to our favor (no reflection on you - you're very polite) to show respect in this country. While we may disagree on issues and policy, we all want a strong prosperous USA. Polarization hurts us. There is no way a polarized country full of hatred for one another can function well no matter which party is in power.

Senate Vote Totals

Democratic Party: 44.9 million votes
Republican Party: 32.9 million votes

Democrats didn’t just take more seats, they took an enormously greater number of votes. Democrats carried both the House and the Senate with vote margins of greater than 9 percent. That’s bigger than the Republican “wave” elections in 2010, or even 1994. It’s a massive margin of victory. Massive.

.....the racist old white men are on the way out, permanently

That's what voter suppression and kicking people off of voter rolls is for.

I disagree, popular vote totals are a great indicator of where the country is going

and the fact the Dem margin was even larger than 2010 reinforces my opinion

LOL... over 6 million people in CA voted for a Dem because there was NO Rep on the ballot. They HAD to vote for a Dem.

Hello Kacper,

and vice versa but that does not answer the question asked---which demographic leads you to believe that all felons in Florida will vote democratic?

They are mostly black. 1 in 5 blacks in Florida did not have the right to vote in the election yesterday which might have elected Florida's first black governor. That just changed.

Most of the people are old. Old people tend not to be as hope-y and change-y as you seem to be imagining.

Not a big deal but made me laugh, usually Democrats will argue they are the party of the educated voters but at the same time they have the prison vote locked up!

Trying to draw conclusions from that is the epitome of stereotyping.
