Is anyone here in disagreement with the Republican prediction of gaining house seats?

Do you agree or not?

Why do we need to agree with Trumps OPINION? So you disagree with it. Big deal. Your claim was "all the hype about a red wave" and then you go on a deflection campaign pretending you didn't make the claim. Seriously, STFU.

Nobody has been hyping a red wave. I suspect that this is GayRod's way of distracting from the fizzling blue wave.

And let's be clear a TRUE blue wave would be taking back the House AND Senate. Regardless of how many seats the democrats are defending is irrelevant. If democrats are as enthused as they claim and Republicans hate Trump like liberals like GayRod claim then they would be poised to take the House and Senate. That would be a blue wave

So their was a lot of hype about "WALK AWAY" and "RED WAIVE".....

Do our Republicans posters here still agree with the Republican line that we will experience a red waive and the Republicans will gain seats in the House and 5-10 seats in the Senate?

more like read tide

Red tide is a phenomenon caused by algal blooms (Wikipedia definition) during which algae become so numerous that they discolor coastal waters (hence the name "red tide"). The algal bloom may also deplete oxygen in the waters and/or release toxins that may cause illness in humans and other animals.

Nah, given the number of Dem seats in the Senate up for grabs vs. the Reps, there really wasn't much of a chance of a blue wave there. The House could have easily been a blue wave. As of now, the averages are showing a 25 seat gain for Dems which would give them a few seat majority.

Garud is simply an idiot, which is why he refused to link to the so-called Republican 'hype'

I disagree on the Senate. A true wave would have taken out the Senate too regardless of the tough map. It may not have taken out all republicans, but they would have been able to get control of the Senate.

Less clear bit if I were to loss frame it, I still think the dems are more likely to win there than the House.

I like to swim upstream. America is in a pissy mood and the GOP seems to have permanently lost 3-5% of its base to the libertarians. That could hurt them more in statewide races.
Disagree. I was a fairly well entrenched libertarian since '96 but after what dims and the media did to Kavanaugh a vote for libertarians is no counter to what those fucks did. There needs to be a resistance to corrupt and unethical behavior. Libertarians simply don't have the power to do that.
Also a vote for republicans is a vote against the powerful media whom I hate.
I have no choice but to vote republican although I wish I did have a choice.

So it seems that you guys don't think there will be a red waive?

Glad to see..

Was this your end game GayRod? Did you just want to know whether or not people thought there would be a Red Wave?

If that were the case, why the straw man? Why not just ask the question directly?

Or did you have other motives? I know you think you are a slick troll, but you really aren't

You can choose to cast your vote however you want, but the libertarian camp has been too consistent outside this year in their performance to assume they will not be a huge factor in which way the election shakes out.

They know they can't win......they wait for the results in hopes that their cheating worked.

What I don't understand is everyone keeps saying racism is dying but yet racist keep voting to put racist in office. How do the GOPigs keep getting elected?

Huge factor? I can't remember them ever being a factor.
Plus, Trump is not really a republican. Like libertarians he's principled with his positions and doesn't care what polls or the media says, he stands by them. In that respect he's more like a libertarian than a republican.
And congressional republicans are mostly spineless.

:lolup:Race hustling moron sounds as dumb as Evince.

I think you are an excellent reason why abortion should be legal for babies with severe retardation. Your mother should have put you out of our misery.

I love when I get this type of angry reaction.

There have been multiple races where the libertarian get was larger than the DNC win margin. The GOP has a libertarian problem in the same way the DNC has a GPUS problem in some places.

Where is this hype you are speaking of coming from? Are you speaking of the thread I started in APP? That is only one person I know of and I would hardly call it hype.

But please GayRod tell us where all this GOP hype you speak of is coming from.
Trump predicts 'giant Red Wave,' claiming fresh victory streak for endorsed candidates

President Trump predicted Wednesday that Republicans could ride a “giant Red Wave” into the November midterm elections – with his help – as he claimed victory for several candidates he endorsed in the latest set of primaries.
