WATCH: Trump’s motorcade forced to turn around after thousands of protesters flood Pi

..and you saw protestors....without them, a visit without incident....
Nothing more....

Good lord are you really this dumb? Even if there were no protestors, nobody could have held services at the synagogue because it would have been closed for business until trump came and went.

I live here.

I know. Poor thing. :(

I read about and listen to local news.

So can anyone with an Internet connection.

trump's visit was not universally popular here.

Nobody claimed that it was, did they?

guess who else didn't show up. Pat Toomey and GOP members of the House. Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan. Scheduling conflicts, you know

So what?

Duh. I live here. I read about and listen to local news. trump's visit was not universally popular here.

In addition to our Dem mayor not showing up for trump, guess who else didn't show up. Pat Toomey and GOP members of the House. Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan. Scheduling conflicts, you know. :D
But the truth is, It went nicely....and many were appreciative...Try as you like, it wouldn't have been disruptive at all with out the protests....

You're just after me...this is nothing about what really took place. If you were honest...
‘(We had a wonderful memorial service here, btw...our community is‘ about 40% Jewish...*one of the largest in Ohio...)

Condescending and supercilious as usual. "...this is nothing about what really took place. If you were honest.."

Unless you were here you don't know what took place. Must be your fake news sites like Faux or Breitbart feeding you that swill.

:palm: Of course not. A motorcade driving 25 miles to the site, traffic slowed, roads closed, sirens blaring, streets blocked, pedestrians re-routed... no disruption whatsoever. Do you even think before you type?

You still haven't provided a single example of who had to have plans cancelled or anyone unable to mourn properly because of the visit....*‘anything actually postponed would have been because of protests. The Trump family was simply not there that long...
If you know otherwise, please give the link...

Who are you trying to kid? A presidential motorcade doesn't slow down - unless protesters block the route. Nor is a presidential motorcade slowed by traffic, sirens, or pedestrians. Do you even think before you type?

They were greeted by Rabbi Jeffrey Myers, who led them inside the temple to light ritual yahrzeit candles in memory of the victims. Emerging about 18 minutes later, the couple walked to a memorial outside the building, where the first lady placed a flower and the president placed a small stone on a marker for each of the dead.

Trump left in his motorcade after about 30 minutes at the synagogue.

Don presented with rejection. Had he faced this earlier in life, say in childhood like non-aristocratic kids do and then learned to deal with it, he might have grown into manhood.

Three of the victims (Daniel Stein, Joyce Fienberg, Irving Younger) were buried out of other synagogues and another (Melvin Wax) from a funeral home rather than Tree of Life.

If you really live in a 40% Jewish community, you should know that burials are supposed to take place within a very short time, usually 24 hours. A normal burial would have taken place on Sunday. Because this was a terrorist act there was a crime scene that had to be investigated, therefore burials were already pushed back by days. trump's visit added to this. You seem to think that because he was only inside the synagogue for 20 minutes, the entire visit took place in 20 minutes. You apparently forgot trump also went to a hospital to visit some of the injured, therefore disrupting another area of the city for three times as long as he spent at the synagogue.

The mayor said he had "asked the White House to consider “the will of the families” before visiting — as well as the resources of a city straining under the deadliest attack on Jews in U.S. history. “All attention should be on the victims,” Peduto said Monday. “We do not have enough public safety officials to provide enough protection at the funerals and ... at the same time draw attention to a potential presidential visit."

^ What are you saying here? The protest was solely about trump and his horrible comments, policies and bigotries.

You say trump is not anti-semitic yet he said that some of the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville were very fine people. Possibly he was just too stupid and tone-deaf to realize what he was saying. Smarter people know that if you don't support the neo-Nazi ideology, you don't marching alongside them in demonstrations.

He did not say that Neo Nazis were "fine people" he said that some people were there to simply protest removal of statues and were not part of the Neo Nazi group and that some of those were not bad people.

The reality is, this President supports Israel in a way that most past Presidents have not. This is not a sign of an anti-semite and is the reason that said anti-semite that attacked the people at that synagogue hated him.
