Scalise is not a deflection.

If the left wants to be consistent, Bernie and the left are responsible for Scalise’s injuries. And if Trump is no longer allowed to criticize CNN then the left needs to stop talking about socialism or republicans wanting to take people’s healthcare away from them.

And btw, the softball shooting was way worse than this incident, where not one person so much as suffered a hang nail. It’s a legitimate story but it’s being hyped for political purposes. They will milk every bit of life out of it before the election—and because of it.

Ironically, the very definition of fake news.

About that: the election will come down to turnout—which will probably be a draw by the looks of it. Republicans haven’t forgotten about the Kavanaugh debacle and the left has their perpetual outrage so it should be about even.

Viewed within the context of the softball shooting, Antifa’s thuggery and etc, Fake Bomb Gate shouldn’t budge the needle much with independents. And depending on how far overboard the coverage is over the next weeks—it could even backfire with them.

That said, it was massive good fortune for the left to have a veritable caricature of a Trump supporter [except that he appears to be more Indian than Elizabeth Warren lol] drop into their laps just weeks before the election.

There are so many other things they’d rather not talk about.

Trump has been a liar and a cheat his whole life. He's dragging the whole country down with his behavior. Were you claiming the pipe bombs were a Democratic false flag?

I disagree. I think its an important story.. It proved that 10 enemies could be targeted successfully.

Consider what would have happened if the bombs had been armed...

I don’t make that claim—but only because there’s no direct evidence of a false flag. In other words, democrats are capable of pulling that stunt.

And let’s be clear that the lack of civility predates Trump. Hillary was the one who demeaned Trump supporters as a ‘basket of deplorables’ and no one on the left did so much as blink. If you are a climate skeptic, the left brands you as a ‘denier’ which conjures the image of holocaust denial.

Conservative speakers were being harassed on college campuses long before Trump announced his candidacy. If you are against gay marriage you’re morally defective. Etc, etc, etc.

If there has been a decrease in civility, Trump didn’t invent it and the left has been leading the charge—and it’s been going on for years—better part of a decade, actually.

My point is the softball shooting was a bigger story because it’s a miracle no one was killed. It easily could have been a mass assassination. It’s plausibe—if not likely, the Fake Bomber was using a scare tactic. If he didn’t know what he was doing he was just as likely to blow himself up in making the devices as he was in killing his alleged targets.
