Do the math...

In the UK ownership of firearms has been tightly controlled for a century. Even cops don't routinely carry firearms except in Northen Ireland.

"They" still haven't started shooting citizens. Unlike in the US, I might add.

But they haven't been outlawed. Restricted, but not outlawed. People still own shotguns and hunting rifles. Try to pay attention.

They are kept under sensible watch, and not allowed to nutters. Where exactly have they ever been 'outlawed'? You bang-bang children live in a funny old world, don't you?

And they still have one of the highest rates of violent crime of any country.

the real math is countries that have made guns more difficult to get have greatly decreased shootings. That isa bad thing in America.Good for othr countries.

So are Americans debating gun laws over hunting? Is that what you kind of think? Are we arguing over shotguns and hunting rifles? Are you trying, or noise making? I would suggest noise making.
