Kavanaugh is about to get the Merick Garland treatment!

It's a single accuser.

Any voter who looks at this, says "darn those Democrats" and bases their vote on it in November should really have their voter registration revoked.

the DNC is not a single accuser.......and Kavanaugh is not a single accused.......those darn Democrats have built their own pyre......

Both sides do this kind of instant character destruction. People who know nothing about her or what happened don't hesitate to call her a liar & all that.

Same thing happened w/ Anita Hill, and there were corroborating stories w/ Thomas.

I think people underestimate what's involved for the accusers to go public w/ this kind of thing. It's hardly something that's easy to do.

If you think this makes democrats look you are delusional.

This is hardly the first time they’ve pulled this stunt on a SCOTUS pick.

Only Fox devotees are making this a party thing.

I don't think it makes Dems look one way or another. Do you have any evidence that this is a "stunt" and that they put her up to it somehow? You are actually the one sounding delusional.

If it’s going to be she said/he said I would delve deeply into her political activism and ask about how she feels about Trump. And since democrats like to talk about Roe v Wade, I’d ask about her position on that as well.
She should be easy enough to paint as an opportunistic political player—assuming republicans are smart enough to do it.

It would be a mistake to hammer on this individual too harshly. Suggesting that her coming forward was politically-motivated might fly, but the days of slut-shaming victims are fading away. Just the fact that Kavanaugh's handlers went to the trouble of digging up former h.s. classmates to give character witness tells us that they knew about this event and wanted to have something to counter if she spoke up. That alone should tell you that something happened back then.

I don't like what they have done to Kavanaugh, but I think it is poetic justice.

I would like to note that by you saying you don't like what the dems are doing, that this implies you don't believe the accusations. Afterall, if you did believe them, then you would find what the dems are doing as absolutely neccesary and prudent.

So lets look look at it this way:

I understand politics, you have to fight for what is yours, I don't blame you for that.

But with garland, we fucked garland, with this whole escapade, you are just going to make women believed less, when you use these bullshit accusations for politics.

Is that still poetic justice in your mind? To use women and devalue rape/assault allegations for political purposes?

lol.....really?.....and why do you feel the need for gory details.......could it be "maximum political impact"?.......why did Feinstein ignore what the accuser claimed since July?......

I cant speak for what Diane Feinstein did or didn't do. You cant dismiss this woman accusation by using that excuse.

Great, lets hear what she has to say.
She should "testify"...there are lots of "tidbits" of history there....Why now, I wonder? ..... it’s not like she didn’t have plenty of opportunities‘ over almost 40 years... "Yet, Ford was silent with Kavanaugh clerked at the Supreme Court, silent when he was a White House attorney, and still silent after Kavanaugh became a U.S. Circuit Judge in 2006 - a process that required a lengthy and controversial Senate confirmation - and all the years thereafter, even as he weighed in on important cases regarding the environment, separation of powers, human rights, and criminal procedure, among others....."
...and much more...but her social media accounts have all disappeared so it's harder to research.... I'm sure people are busy finding the info that's needed... '

At this point, this is not a game, and its not politics, but the character of a man who is facing a lifetime appointment, and his attitude towards women.

The Kavanaugh classmate quoted in the New Yorker is Mark Judge, a writer in Washington, D.C. Judge spoke to THE WEEKLY STANDARD Friday afternoon, strongly denying that any such incident ever occurred. "It's just absolutely nuts. I never saw Brett act that way," Judge told TWS.

....

After Judge categorically denied ever witnessing an attempted assault by Kavanaugh, I asked him if he could recall any sort of rough-housing with a female student back in high school (an incident that might have been interpreted differently by parties involved). "I can't. I can recall a lot of rough-housing with guys. It was an all-boys school, we would rough-house with each other," he said said. "I don't remember any of that stuff going on with girls."

Ever consider the possibility that Ford could be lying?

It’s very hard to ignore the timing of the accusation and the release of the news by Feinstein. In my opinion the timing hurts her (the accuser) credibility whether it was intentional or not.

A man? ... how old was Kav when this allegedly happened?

Now you are making excuses, none of which will matter once she testifies.
