No matter how you cut it, what happened to this man is tragic and up until recently, I felt there was a broad consensus that the officer involved should face serious criminal charges. LOL. If a burglar breaks into your house you are required to obey their commands? The woman was a criminal, is a criminal, and will be convicted as a criminal.

IMO, politicization of race does work. It even got young, inexperienced B.O. elected.

While I agree it was unintentional, ... I don't think she acted reasonably or rationally. I have to question how she even got, and kept, a job as a cop, .as in did affirmative action and political correctness influence her hiring.

Apparently she has a personal problem with men.

Doesn't make sense. She turned on the lights and didn't see her own furniture there? She had to check the apartment number to know it was the wrong place?

I hope this woman got tested for substances. Her excuses are pretty flimsy for both before and after the shooting.

I've made the mistake of going to the wrong apartment myself three times in one year and I even walked up the stairs most of the time. It's easy for that to happen. What's not easy to do is to not realize you are on the wrong floor once your key doesn't work. Normal people say to themselves when they ask internally what happened "Oh, I'm at the wrong apartment". The police mind instantly goes into burglary scenarios and acts on them with lethal violence.
