We (but not me) are having a Family get-to-gather at Schlitterbahn.
I'm grabbing my little granddaughter and taking her part way there, meeting one of my sons.
They're going to stay at some Hotel on the Island.
Her other grandfather lives in Baytown.
I have a cousin I haven't seen in 50 years that lives in Sugar Land.
Most of the kin are in and around Bellaire.
I heard you talk about Grand Prairie, I have a son that lives there.

Question: Just how bad are the fucking Property Taxes in Texas!

They are high, but, the taxes were high in Alaska, too, so we didn't notice a difference.

I was in Kenai for a while. Hitch hiked to Anchorage. Everything was EXPENSIVE. So, there seems to be a BIG Difference in Cost & Wage in Alaska.

I think Texas doesn't have any State or Sales Tax, all their Revenue comes from Property Taxes? THAT has to be a killer!?

So, we're you one of those Communists that got a yearly cut of the State's Oil?
