Gillum wins Florida governor primary in upset victory for the left

So glad the Soros/Sanders candidate won! A far left loon. Those don't do well in general elections. I was afraid Gwen Graham could win but not this one.

Libs always snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. :rofl2:

voters voted for him asshole

You hate democracy shit ball?

You hate democracy shit ball?

Just goes to show that Democrats in Florida, just like with Obama vs. Hillary in 2008, placed skin color over reproductive organ in their hierarchy of "qualifications"

Thank God they voted or cheated or whatever Soros candidates do to win.

I was concerned Gwen Graham might win a general. I thought she could snag Republican votes and moderate dems.

This one? Not a chance in hell. lol

Whew, we dodged a bullet.

I would normally agree, but I think the more standard "Bill Clinton Dem" crowd won't go for the socialist. What did he win by? At one point it was only by around 2 or 3% I think.

Uhh, sure .. but you underestimate the gift Trump gave to democrats .. Puerto Rican voters.

Why not? Hillary adopted some of Bernie’s ideas for her campaign.

I could handle Medicade expansion ( although how we pay for it -Florida is a balanced budget state) but the rest of his is way too much socialism..

Well, he wasn't my choice and he's probably a bit too far left and progressive for my tastes, but I'll certainly vote for him come November.

One of the nice perks if he wins, would be the knowledge of just how badly it would stick in Trump's craw that a black man beat his hand picked and endorsed candidate. Same with the Republicans in the Florida Legislature, and of course, Rick Scott who would have to greet him and hand him the keys to the Governor's mansion while pretending not to be seething with inner rage.

That in itself is reason enough for me to support him. :rofl2:

Just curious. What issues are too far left and progressive?

BAC you can chime in as well since you thanked the post.
