One week later and still no indictments or impeachment

Teflon Don

I'm back baby
Well, it has been almost a week since the BREAKING news about Manafort and Cohen. The liberals claimed that Trump committed felonies.

Yet, we still have ZERO indictments against President Trump.

Oh well, maybe tomorrow

The amazing thing is that someone who spent a career cheating and skirting the law ever risked running for president. Ego trumped sense, I suppose.

He may or may not have collaborated with an unfriendly power to subvert US democracy - although I don't doubt he would if given the chance - but there's a closet full of skeletons without that and they're starting to come out.

Enjoy the dance!

Maybe it will happen someday, finally lol!

Critics have been quick to compare the controversy surrounding the White House and Russia to the Watergate scandal that forced President Richard Nixon to resign. But the Watergate drama took longer to unfold — more than two years.

[h=1]House Democrats Are Preparing To Unleash Investigation Hell On Trump[/h]The list of areas that Republicans expect Democrats to investigate if they take back the House has leaked, and it numbers more than 100 items. Trump’s White House is totally unprepared for this level of oversight.

Axios obtained the Republican list of likely Democratic investigative targets that include:

– President Trump’s tax returns

– Trump family businesses — and whether they comply with the Constitution’s emoluments clause, including the Chinese trademark grant to the Trump Organization

– Trump’s dealings with Russia, including the president’s preparation for his meeting with Vladimir Putin

– The payment to Stephanie Clifford — a.k.a. Stormy Daniels

– James Comey’s firing

– Trump’s firing of U.S. attorneys

– Trump’s proposed transgender ban for the military

– Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin’s business dealings

– White House staff’s personal email use

– Cabinet secretary travel, office expenses, and other misused perks

– Discussion of classified information at Mar-a-Lago

– Jared Kushner’s ethics law compliance

– Dismissal of members of the EPA board of scientific counselors

– The travel ban

– Family separation policy

– Hurricane response in Puerto Rico

– Election security and hacking attempts

– White House security clearances

Trump is unprepared for this onslaught of oversight

The list above didn’t come from guesswork. It came from actual investigative requests that House Democrats have already made, so it presents more than a reliable roadmap of where Democrats are likely to go if they win the House.

Unlike what Republicans used their investigative powers for during the Obama administration, investigating Fox News and talk radio conspiracy theories, Democrats have several current investigations of Trump both civil and criminal that justify serious congressional oversight. The Trump White House is woefully understaffed and not prepared in any way for what is about to hit them if Democrats win in November.

These investigations matter because what they uncover could lead to impeachment and the destruction of the Trump presidency.

The investigative process is a critical step in the process of holding Trump accountable.

Many Trump critics want him impeached, but he can’t be impeached without evidence, and that proof is going to come either from the Special Counsel’s investigation and/or congressional investigations.

House Democrats are preparing to unleash oversight hell, and Trump has no idea what is coming his way.

What a dumbfuck. You have no concept on how investigations as complicated as this work.:rofl2:

No President is above the law right?

Bring on the indictments. If Mueller has the goods why wait?

I think the plan was to ‘stop Trump’ ASAP but it’s not like they could just make something up. Things aren’t that bad, yet anyway.

So I look for Mullet to ‘coincidentally’ make a report sometime before November. And also because there’s a political risk in waiting—it’s not inconceivable that republicans could increase their numbers in the House. There’s also potential trouble afoot [for Mullet, Comey et al] in the form of another SP to look into the myriad alleged abuses of the so-called Deep State.

That has the potential to blow the whole thing up. In fact, it just came out that Comey lied to Congress when he claimed they look at all of Hillary’s emails. I don’t care about Hillary or her stupid emails, but this is just going to add to the political pressure for another SP. How long before that reaches critical mass?

But my guess is Mullet is going to go with what he has—more sooner than later. I also think his over the top prosecutorial tactics [throwing Manafort into solitary confinement, raiding Cohen’s office like he was a common drug lord etc] is an indication that things are getting desperate.

The next six months to a year could get real interesting.

Can't wait for the push-back when a Democrat finally figures out how to win back the White House. You idiots think you can lower the bar for civil decency and not pay a price?

How's that #metoo movement working for the left? So far it is getting a LOT of liberal guys in some very hot water. Not a lot of Conservatives.

One interesting thing that I have noticed that isn't getting reported is how some Senate Republicans have shifted their tone, most notably Grahamnesty and Burr. I think they realize that there is no there there

Ask Bill O'Reilly and several dozens others like him

If Congress and The House Of Representatives were doing their job- President Trump would have already been tarred and feathered and tossed in the piss pool!

But, since they haven't done their job- That's OK!

The Democrats will soon take back both houses- and show the Republicans how it's really done! LOL!

Quite an impressive list. If your lynch mob DOES take the house, are they going to have the time to actually DO anything for the American people?
