This country has never been "great"...not for everyone. It wasn't great for women (it still isn't). It wasn't great for immigrants (it still isn't). It wasn't great for minorities (it still isn't).

While America may have done some great things, they didn't happen in a vaccuum. And for every "great" thing America did, there were dozens of examples of America doing shitty things.

John Wayne Gacy was great at making balloon animals. So does that mean he's also a great person?
