The moronic was attempting to tie the Comey letter to Hillary's loss. Try to be HONEST instead of DISHONEST.
I remember that I said it didn't affect the final polls as much as I thought it would - so yeah, I was more hopeful at the end. Like I said, I went back & forth. Turns out my initial call on it was spot on.
You really make too big a deal about that - but I get that this is an important thing for you to do.
But yet, 3 million more people voted for Hilary.
Um, we're saying the same thing.
Maybe some of that is the media's fault? Maybe more fact checking and less rhetoric.
The media is the problem. They are why we are divided. I'm glad they were booed and flipped off.
Most people do, and it clearly consumed a lot of the last week in a very close election.
Um, no you weren't.
The media has an agenda.

It's something Blacks and other minorities have seen since we were brought over here on ships. We've marched, spoke out and been arrested for speaking out against these awful people. We have been ignored, swept under the rug, denied, and not believed. We've been lied on, lied to and lied about. We have been fighting this battle for 100's of years and we are still being told progress is slow.
What is it going to take for white America to actually care? Will they ever? They can stop dump tomorrow if they wanted.....obviously, they don't want to.
I think you're confused again -
But yet, 3 million more people voted for Hilary.
True, but I doubt most of them decided late (the last week). Most were faithful Democratic voters. The difference is that in 2016 both candidates had negative ratings and more people had trouble deciding. I think for some it could have been nothing more than trying the "new" guy. Many recent presidential elections were won by the newer candidate versus those who had been hanging around the longest (Obama, George Bush, Bill Clinton, Trump). Could could more easily play the "outsider" role than Hillary.
Coming from a Birther!
This is a truly illuminating thread
So for the last almost two years, all we have heard from these JPP liberals is that President Trump conspired with Putin to steal the election. He committed high crimes and misdemeanors. He is a traitor. He committed treason. He has been investigated as nauseum. He is the biggest threat to our democracy in history. Nary a week has gone by without some JPP liberal calling for his impeachment.
Now all of a sudden they want to pump the breaks. They don’t want to impeach.
Me thinks that some JPP libtards are waking up to the fact that their brand of crazy isn’t playing well with the American people.
I smell capitulation

I will try to get it through your dishonest head; Hillary was leading all the way into the election. The predictions were that HILLARY, not TRUMP was going to win.
As for the idiotic notion that Comey's caused her loss, that was dispelled by an in depth study, not polling people's feelings.
Our model shows that the Comey letter led to a small drop in Clinton’s lead, but that shift is not statistically significant. In other words, there is no clear evidence that the letter cost Clinton votes. When we specify our model in different ways — for example, looking at the impact for just the three days after its release — we again do not find evidence that the letter moved the polls.

That's a good point. My gender and skin color have afforded me some protection and privilege that I have to remember comes into context here.
The danger with Trumpism and modern Republicanism is that it gives racists, xenophobes, islamophobes, and bigots permission and sanction to publically act upon their most primitive and vile instincts. Any social taboo is being eroded for these "very fine" Nazis.
Nothing is more stupid than voting for "change" when one cannot precisely articulate the exact nature of the change that one believes a candidate will bring.
I'm reminded of the idiots who say, "I vote the man [it's always man], not the party."
First of all, people with active brain cells vote ideology, policy, and issues, not perception of personal attributes.
How is it humanly possible to require a last minute decision?
Second, the personalities come and go.
The parties stand for something, and it's impossible for a person of intelligence not to have an opinion of which ideology is closer to his/her own.
Independents are like men with no balls. They can be comfortable straddling a fence.
LOL - re-read your own article. Talk about a dishonest cherrypick!
Silver concluded that there was a 3% swing. Hmmmm....80,000 votes out of over 120 million. Whatchya think? Think that's less than 3%?
