Read the article carefully. It shows the counties with the lowest educational level voted for Hillary. Those counties "shifted" toward Trump meaning Hillary got a smaller percentage of the vote than Obama in 2012, but Hillary still won by 7%.

It is rude to call Trump voters dumb -- if you continue to do that, they will never hold Trump accountable for anything because you gave them the "sads" and hurt their feelings -- so they would Trump support about anything just to make you feel the same kind of "sads" they are feeling.
