trumpsters are Uneducated

I know two who did; one has a masters degree in history, the other a BA in communications. They're also evangelical Christians, which makes their support even more implausible. However, she told me she voted for Trump solely based on the abortion issue.

So you say.

A Story for Every Occasion™.

"The surprise, however," Mr. Scott said, "is how many college graduates voted for Trump." That margin was narrow: 49 percent of college graduates voted for Mrs. Clinton, 45 percent for Mr. Trump.

All along, Mr. Trump’s support was believed to be concentrated among white voters with lower levels of education, and the exit polls bear this out: 67 percent of such voters went to Mr. Trump, 28 percent to Mrs. Clinton. But Mr. Trump also won the white college-educated vote, with 49 percent to Mrs. Clinton’s 45 percent."

Trump also won 52% of those with some college/associate degree

Oh I don't know. An evangelical Christian is already able to deeply believe in grandiose fantastical stories repeated endlessly with no evidence. And really now, does anyone believe Don was never involved in any way in an abortion? He pays off hookers for crying out loud, wonder how many abortions he's paid for.

You aren't seriously trying to say educated people would vote for Trump are you

What I'm saying is that the screed you cited makes no connection between demographic educational credentials and how people voted.

It simply states the reported educational levels and 2012/2016 vote tallies of a few counties and disingenuously insinuates a causal relationship in voting patterns.

The fact is that nobody knows how anyone voted, or if they voted at all, for that matter.

But less over all amongst the population at large.

This is america asshole, arguing about nothing is who we are.

Generalize much?

Unlike, say, a Trump-hater who is already able to deeply believe in grandiose fantastical stories repeated endlessly with no evidence, and uses a logical fallacy to imply that Trump must have paid for abortions?

I doubt if they would care if his mistress had one in the middle of Fifth Avenue. All they care about is getting Roe v Wade overturned via the Supreme Court picks. Yep, all the many issues facing our country today -- and that is all they care about.

The lack of education of trumps voters has been a common thread on this forum. https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/education-not-income-predicted-who-would-vote-for-trump/

Nope....nothing ELISTIST OR BIGOTED here folks. And you wonder why you got your ass kicked. The funny thing...… the continued use of flawed and skewed numbers based upon the information programed into the equation. According to the exit polls after the election Trump won the college educated whitvote by 2%.....according to the NY Times. The Times concluded the polls "MUST BE FLAWED" as its clear Trump never had the support of those who are educated, especially.....the white vote. Trump could never have won because of failed socialist policies, THERE MUST BE A MISTAKE....anyone that voted for Trump "must be ignorant". ;) https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/27/...tes-he-never-won-them-in-the-first-place.html

Who told you that?

Statistics I'd like to see: How many Trump voters watched "The Apprentice."

Trump voter here who never watched the show and would compare my education, experience, success and intelligence against any brain dead clueless liberal dullard who voted for Obama, Hitlery or Sanders.
