Red Hen Owner Resigns In Disgrace From Local Org After Kicking Out Sarah

LEXINGTON, VA (WFXR News) - - A group of about five protesters drove to Lexington, Virginia from Maryland to protest the Red Hen because they heard the restaurant would reopen Thursday.

The Red Hen was put into the national spotlight after Press Secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted that the owner of the Red Hen had asked her to leave on June 23.

Paul Brockman organized the protest, he is with the Maryland based group "Patriot Picket".

"We are here because actions have consequences. What the owners of the Red Hen, while perfectly legal, is reprehensible," Brockman said.
Brockman said his group his alerting the general public of what the owners did and want to let the marketplace decide.

"We think the place for political statements is at the ballot box and not at the restaurant table."

Brockman said he wanted to show the owners that people don't forget.

"You can't just hide under the blankets for a couple of weeks and think that everything is ok."

The group posted on social media that their aim is not to suffocate the Red Hen out of business.

"The marketplace will ultimately make the decision on the restaurant’s food, service, prices and ambiance."

The restaurant is only open to "reservations" and patrons have to enter in the side entrance. Considering they weren't taking reservations online and were screening phone reservations, whoever is there tonight was recruited.
Good for them...Steph won't have to ask anyone to leave, and she can go home...No one will be offended and have to call her to return....whew, what a relief, right?
No reason for anyone else to be there for a "protest"this evening... other than the group who showed up...that would be waste of time....It's not really back open yet, after all...
And yes, no one will forget....;) Time will tell...

Gods, could you be any more pathetic? The restaurant was *always* open to those who made reservations; its hours are 5pm - 8:30pm so it's not like a Chili's or neighborhood bar where people just wander in.

Your real issue is your seething envy of someone who has made a successful business doing something you've lied about doing yourself for many years. This has zero to do with politics, just like all your vendettas. It's solely about your sick personal animosity towards one of your betters, born of envy.
