I understand and agree, RB...although I am not sure of what point you are trying to make.

Hitler was big about making Germany great again. There were huge crowds of people cheering him on...sycophants who overlooked the fact that he obviously was insane. And it ended badly.

My point is that Donald Trump is pretending to be making America great (again)...when he is making it MUCH, MUCH worse. And there are people cheering him on...overlooking the fact that he obviously is insane.

This is going to end badly.

I hope not as badly as it did for Germany.

Nope. Opioid crisis? Still here. Economy? Thanks, Obama! Racism? More blatant than ever. Police being shot? Oops, still got that too. Police shooting unarmed ppl? Ditto. School shootings? Still happening. Jobs being outsourced? Ask the employees of Harley-Davidson about that.

Well, Trump has accomplished a few things.... chaos at the top. Full employment for Mueller's investigative team. Great ratings for the once-slumping CNN. Solidarity among those who feel that we can solve a lot of America's problems, and Hawaii's volcano problems, by throwing Trump in the caldera as a sacrifice. lol

Nice attempt though to try to talk about something other than other people.

He is trashing our nation...its institutions. And he is especially trashing American conservatives and the Republican Party...because they are now in the unenviable spot of having to defend this monstrosity.

No matter what...American conservatism and the Republican Party are the worse for the influence Trump has exerted on them. And that holds even if they win more elections (I think they won't)...because the Republican Party of the last 3 decades has not been able to lead or govern. They are incompetents...especially the more right wing of that party.
