Individuals who came from any culture can be assimilated into a nation. Rightists have always been wrong when they promote the idea that some group of recent arrivals is "unassimiable". In the early 20th century it was the Jews, Italians, and Asians, now it is Arabs and Africans - they were wrong then, they are wrong now.
 
It is amazing to me that rightism persists as an ideology when they've literally been wrong about everything they've ever held in history. You would think at some point a system of ideas with that track record would cease to exist, it persists nevertheless somehow.

I never believed this before but now I kinda' do. When America has a racial mixing like we have the 'European' mixing, we will become 'assimilated'.

The conservatives have been on the wrong side of every major issue in American history.

The conservatives in Revolutionary times where the ones claiming we owe fealty to George III and that breaking away was treason.

The conservatives during the American Civil War where the ones claiming states had the right to allow humans to own other humans...to buy them, sell them, and to own them.

The conservatives at the beginning of World War II were the ones claiming that Hitler did not have to be fought by Americans.

American conservatives are puppets of people pulling their strings. And most of the people pulling their strings would not even piss on them if they were on fire.

Conservatives demanded that the first cars be preceeded by a person carrying a warning flag and they fought electrification of homes. Conservatives are merely an anchor to civilization.

Seems that the Left are the modern equivalent of those red flag wavers. Political correctness, identity politics and zealotry regarding climate and environment are their latter day descendants.
