The irony of this FALSE narrative is that these same players stand for OTHER nations anthems, just not their own.

No, it just means that NFL players are the ones who have decided to take a stand. Some things happen in waves while others never make it off the beach. Just because it hasn't spread doesn't mean it won't.

It is for the individual to decide.

They can decide to kneel while the Anthem is played, and the owners will be fined in consequence. No player will be prevented from doing whatever they decide to do.
