Believing they are guilty is vastly different than saying that are not allowed to plead the fifth.

I really don't understand how this is difficult for people to understand. Let me state it another way.... I don't think you should say X, it makes you look bad, however, that doesn't mean I don't support your right to say X.

I already stated why you are wrong and why you lied. Saying I think someone is guilty because they plead the fifth is not the same as saying an innocent person cannot plead the fifth.

If you still don't get it after this post and my post above, you never will. You simply want it to be true and it isn't. Trump never said innocent people cannot plead the fifth. Your admission that you "know" what he means is an express admission you lied, in that he never said that.

I am reasonably sure that no one has declared that guilty people "can't" plead the 5th, as though it was some kind of legal rule. There has simply been a lot of moral pronouncements made about the sort of people who do plead the 5th.

The fact is Trump can avail himself of the 5th. He has to face the fact that he claimed several times, that is was an admission of guilt. However he knows the Trumplestilskins are going nowhere. If Trump does it, it is great, the greatest legal tactic ever, If a Dem does it, they should be shot at sunrise.
