Because eventually the ones who WERE born here, adopted the predominant religion. This happens literally everywhere. It's very likely that if you are religious, your particular religion is dictated by your geography.

But some of the other religions survived in a way, Louisiana is somewhat famous for it's voodoo history.

Jesus the Christ is one of the players in that Testament...almost the most important one. Paul is the star...but I grant that Jesus was a close number 2.

BOTH OF THEM worshiped the god who pronounced that quote I offered. And you know what Jesus said in Matthew Chapter 5. He, Jesus, was not here to change the law. And the passage I offered is part of that law.

The New Testament. That's the book of fairytales where there are virgin births, guys walking on water, and people being brought back from the dead, isn't it?

That's an interesting argument, Frank. But that law is speaking specifically to Jews. It makes no reference to Christians, or Christians Not being able to enslave Jews. But, even the Jews don't obey all of Leviticus anymore.

I think the Good Samaritan story in Luke ... teaches us that all men are brothers, equals in the eyes of God.

Well ... I have a cigar in my avatar, Frank ... and many of the JPP libs have said they think it's a penis. And then, we all know about Ol' Cumstain ... and what he thinks a cigar is for.




I'm not a cigar aficionado, but I do appreciate the sentiment :D
