NY Judge rules OBAMA supporters can be thrown out of any bar, store or business

It won't. But what should stand is a bars right to throw anyone out they wish to. If they want to throw out Trump supporters, I am fine with that as long as the other bars can throw out Obama supporters.

Unlike Trump Obama supporters are not likely to get thrown out because they have money and act civilly in public.

And, bakeries can kick out whoever they want, too. :awesome:

Sorry but we still have protections against discrimination. Until whiny conservative becomes a protected class, you guys are S.O.L for this bar.

Can't discriminate against hats, either. I get your point though. It would have to be a dress code where all apparel must be free from political statements I guess. Or, is that squashing free speech? I don't know, we'll see.

No, it's their business so unless they try to discriminate against by way of the protected categories (race, gender, sexuality, etc) they can literally say "liberal hats only in this bar" and get away with it. You would still be about to wear your hat outside, your free speech intact.

Like if clothing were a form of speech, and private businesses had to protect your speech for you, there'd be no black tie and coat only restaurants.

Well, this opens up an interesting can of worms. Do you think that liberals would politely give up their free speech rights in a public establishment?

Do you realize the NY judge ruled you can be barred from a public business because of your political beliefs?

That's not the ruling.
You are full of crap.
No one can know what you believe or who you support unless you express it.
Expressing unpopular political beliefs got the man thrown out of the bar, not simply holding them.
The MAGA hat was the offending object, not the wearers political "beliefs".
Had he left his hat at home and kept quiet about who he voted for, he could get drunk with the normal sane people, regardless of his insane political beliefs..

Bullshit from an uniformed voter. :palm:

And the guy was there for hours and ran up a $180 bar bill . He got drunk and obnoxious at the end of nite .... and still gave a 20% tip.

Come out of "the bubble", Leon.

So you are saying the Trump supporter was thrown out for being rude and obnoxious.
Well there's a surprise.
So his suit about being thrown out for his hat was a lie?
Well said.
