Worked for Bernie but I wanted Warren. Are you saying you believed what Trump said. He lied all the way through the campaign and got worse after he won. You have to see what kind of people they are and figure what they will do from a lifetime of politics. Hillary would have been a solid president. Trump was a jerk from day one he showed that through his whole life.

I was on this board during the campaign. I didn't see Bernie or Hillary supporters standing up for TPP. If they did I would respect the position today. Otherwise there is no principle behind the complaint, it's purely partisanship

You supported Bernie but are bitching about Trump not supporting TPP? What do you think Bernie's trade policies were? He was just as anti-trade as Trump.

I was a Bernie supporter and I have always opposed the TPP. I don't think it is a workable arrangement in a free-market economy and it pretty much screws the poorest countries on the planet under the pretense it would be screwing China.

We do the Don was against it, campaigned on it being "a disaster," even made it his fourth photo op Executive Order in week one. His being against it before he was for it is the topic now, not what you think all Democrats were during the campaign

It was a blunder he now realizes, the handwriting was on the wall after his departure from last year's Asian meeting when everyone else went ahead and formulated a Far East trade union without the US

Want to point to threads that show people supporting it and speaking out against Bernie and Hillary? You called it Obama's innovation when the TPP roots started in 2008. There were a lot of Bernie supporters on this board and no threads saying he was wrong/they disagree with him on trade.
 
I was pretty sure the TPP was a smart move. Obama spent 5 years on it. It was a hedge against China grabbing more trading partners in Asia Bernie made it evil and Trump jumped on board.. Hillary was unable to defend it after it was demonized. But it remains a good Obama idea.
