trump fought installing sprinklers

I don't know if she does, but I know trump does not. He claims to be a billionaire. So it would not have been a problem for him to install them. He just didn't care if people died, if it saved him a few bucks. We are talking fire safety and human lives. Trump had no problem weighing a few bucks as more important.

So you're trying to portray all real estate property owners who don't have sprinklers in their buildings as not caring about human lives. Many large property owners are liberals. Should they no longer allowed to be Democrats if they don't put sprinklers into their buildings?

I wonder why evince ran away and won't answer if she has sprinklers for her tenants.

She is constantly posting right now and was in this thread until I asked her that simple question.

Clean agent systems are better than sprinklers.

In this case, with an alleged large art collection I am rather surprised he didn't have one himself.

Surely if it was insured then that would have been a condition stipulated by the insurers?

Maybe the tenants didn't want the intrusion of installing them.

And Evince does not have sprinklers for her tenants, that is a fact. Why else do you think she is avoiding answering the question?

Yeah, that's what it was. Why make your place safe ? You are just permuting every possible excuse for Trump except admitting that he is a low life. He is.

The guy was a recluse, would rather stay and burn with his paintings and artwork rather than walk out the door. He was probably against sprinkler retrofit as well, since it would have required movig all his shit out while the work was being done.

Probably's as good as we-know-this-for-sure-and-can-document-it these days.

So thousands of property owners are low lifes because sprinklers aren't required by code. And thousands of legislators are low lifes for not requiring them.

What are the odds a move like that would placate partisanshitheads?

0%?

I don't like Trump and I think he's a sh*thead but it's not because he followed the law like every other property owner did. Extreme partisanship makes people really stupid

NEW YORK — The 50th-floor apartment in Trump Tower where a man was killed in a raging fire did not have sprinklers — a requirement Donald Trump once fought as a powerful real estate developer.
Todd Brassner, 67, died at a hospital on Saturday after a fire ripped through his apartment in the high-rise, which opened in 1983 at a time when building codes did not require the residential section to have sprinklers.
Subsequent updates to the codes required commercial skyscrapers to install sprinklers retroactively, but owners of older residential high-rises are not required to install them unless the building undergoes major renovations.

Some fire safety advocates pushed for a requirement that older apartment buildings be retrofitted with sprinklers when the city passed a law requiring them in new residential high-rises in 1999, but officials in the administration of then-mayor Rudolph Giuliani said that would be too expensive.
Trump was among the developers who spoke out against the retrofitting as unnecessary and expensive.

FYI............

This Nordberg character has a visceral hatred for Trump.

Code didn't require it dumbass.

Every property owner did? You made that up.

Give one example of an older building that fully sprinklered that wasn't required to. There are hundreds of thousands of these types of buildings across the country. Hell there are millions of them. Find one.

For what systems like that costs, especially retrofit systems, NO ONE is going to install one unless the codes require them to do so.
