I Miss Martin Luther King

Nope. Never knew him. However, if we are allowed to cross the divide of time and space, I suppose I miss Grendel. Society has never been the same since that republican Beowulf nailed his hand to the mead hall door, and then tracked down his poor mother and murdered her in cold blood such is the inhumanity of conservatives.

my point was an educated person can miss someone they never met

its why we have a written language

to carry wisdom father than just one generation

I think it pretty easy really

black people get to tell us what offends them

brown people get to say what offends them

Jewish people get to tell us what offends them

get it

you have to accept what people tell you offends them

racism is all wrapped up in that one

racists are the people who refuse to accept this simple idea

they just call the people they hate liars when they tell them something was offensive to them

as in

black people say calling them the n word is offensive to them when it comes from a non black person

the racist will respond with "RACE CARD, that's not racist, quit whining" or the like
So, you're saying that people shouldn't say offensive things about other groups of people... in general? For any reason? And that anyone who does shouldn't ever be accepted by that group? Do you accept what others say about them when they are offended by what you may post here? What does that make you?
You're incredibly and unreasonably judgmental. Don't you agree?
How can you say all republicans are racist?

Nice passive-aggressive attempt to paint this as a matter of education, which it is not. You cannot miss someone you never knew or met or were influenced by when they were alive. If you never enjoyed the presence of them then you cannot regret no longer having their presence.

I miss RFK more then any of them, including JFK.. I think RFK would be able to do the healing -
being respected in both the black and white community ( it was RFK that gave the speech the night MLK was killed urging restraint.

Plus he would have gotten us out of Vietnam, unlike the sleezy Nixon

I know, can't believe that the 50th anniversary of that assassination is coming up this June. Bobby was a good man, a strong and compassionate leader.

Hahahaha, said JPP's Biggest Virtue-Signalling Self-Righteous Finger-Pointer.

Don't you have some racism seminars or cookies to bake to honor Dr. King? Got any more of your famous not-racist jokes about black guys going to the welfare office? Any personal tales told in Ebonics?

You mean like the week, you freaked that Oprah might run for President?
Then pretended you were doing all sorts of fake shit on MLK day?

When you create the new thread there is an option to ban certain ppl. PoliTalker chose wisely in this thread by preventing the worst racists from strewing their garbage all over it.

I stand in admiration of your thread ban list.

Personally, I feel like I am doing a service to humanity by preventing retarded racists, belligerent bigots, tepid trolls, serial slanderers, lying libelers, and barely educated dunces from polluting the interwebs.

If only you could do something about the racist "teacher" who posted right above this post of yours. lol She used to make racist remarks (still does) on Amazon, as well as posting racist jokes... but it was okay because her husband was an "athletic black man" who was supposedly an avid golfer. He doesn't exist, never did. She's been following me around (even off of political discussion boards) for over eight years now. Sick beast, eh?

Martin Luther King, in the lexicon of today, would really be considered a democratic socialist. Even a radical. His message of social justice, economic justice, his posture against the military industrial complex, would actually be shocking to the ears of a modern day teabagger.

I am old enough to remember that it wasn't that many years ago that conservatives, dixiecrats, rightwing republicans, and southerners were fighting tooth and nail against having a national holiday for Dr. King. In our lifetimes, there was a substantial latent racial backlash against Dr. King.

But it is kind of analogous to the Iraq War Disaster now. Today, everyone claims to have been against the war, and everyone now tries to claim Dr. King's message. Which is a tribute to him in death, though in life he was considered dangerous to the economic elite.

Wrapping up, I am glad to see almost everyone at least trying to claim the mantle of democratic socialism that Dr. King espoused!

LOL...the obsession never ends, does it?...poor Fowl....that was quite the post, though...sad....so sad...when are you going to realize that no one pays a Bit of attention to your comments about me? Zero...try as you might...

I am pretty sure this TOP dunce is on my thread ban list. I don't even think I have read more than three of his posts, he might have earned the spot primarily because I abhor girlish gossiping, barely educated dunces, and intellectual mediocrity. I did not even know about the latent racism!

LOL...poor Fowl...better luck next forum.....no luck on Amazon...The cesspool is closed and time is running out here...just move on...that's really your best option...

It's a female, allegedly, although its appearance is manly. You're a wise man, Cypress. And you haven't missed a thing by having it on your ignore list. The racism isn't latent, more blatant. BAC and TTQ have already taken her measure, months ago.
