Hamas chief asked the league's secretary-general to sue Israel at the International Criminal Court (ICC).


Hamas has called on the Arab League to sue Israel for killing unarmed Palestinians near the Gaza strip border.

The call was made on Monday in a phone conversation between Hamas' political leader Ismail Haniya and Arab League's Secretary-General Ahmed Abul-Gheit.

The Arab League will hold an emergency meeting Tuesday on Israeli deadly attacks against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, league official said Monday.

So let's look at your post in a little more depth.

Who was this HAMAS ' senior leader ' ? In what capacity was he speaking ? You don't say.

Then you condemn HAMAS - or in fact anybody disagreeing with your narrative- for challenging the numbers of Holocaust victims. Why ? It's people's nature to challenge historical data .
As it turns out the figure of 6 million dead is not confirmed by recent research.

Then you state that ' HAMAS ' termed the conference as having ' Zionist goals '. If indeed it dealt only with the Jewish victims of the Shoah ( not be be confused with the wider Holocaust ) without acknowledging the conference HOSTS part in it then such criticism would be justified;

So where is your criticism of Sweden ? Do you not think that criticism of the conference itself would be justified if these claims were not discussed ?


Fortunately the declaration of the conference does bring itself to mention NON-JEWISH victims of the Holocaust which- research reveals- were at least TWICE AS MANY as the 6 million Jewish victims of the Shoah.
