Collusion is not necessarily illegal, money laundering and obstruction of justice are.
I have a strong feeling he's going down on the obstruction issue, hence his weekend Tweet freak-out trying to discredit those he fired.
It sure sounds, from the tweets, that Rump is stressing over likely obstruction charges. He basically admitted to obstruction in the Lester Holt interview.
Only in how their situations reflect on him.

I haven’t seen all the evidence so I don’t know if it’s a “slam dunk”, but I do know mueller has a reputation for taking his time and getting all of his evidence nailed down before going public.
He won’t move on Obstruction until he has all he’s going to get on collusion and money laundering. He won’t move until after he has interviewed Rump, give him a chance to explain it all away no matter how impossible that sounds.

Trump won't deny the obstruction of justice charge because he can't see anything wrong with it.
In his weird little, Trump tower, corrupt billionaire way , he simply sees it as protecting himself.
