My brother in law, and one of my buddies are bow hunters. Strikes me as a high skill sport, worthy of respect.

As far as I can tell, the gun humpers who want to use high-powered, military-style assault rifles for hunting deer and pheasant are the exact same people who would like to use dynamite and electro-shocking for fishing.

What you had here was a bunch of rightwing know-it-alls, and arm chair experts claiming there is basically no difference between traditional hunting rifles, and modified-for-civilian-sale military assault rifles.

Your trauma surgeon post compared AR-15s to 9mm handguns. I'm sure a trauma surgeon would agree that a traditional hunting rifle like a 30.06 does far more damage than an AR-15.

One-shot, one kill, skill, and stealth is what most hunters I know appreciate about their sport.

Laying down a hailstorm of lead on a deer, will high velocity bullets designed to pulverize flesh is not the kind of traditional, skill-based, one-shot-one-kill hunting I am familiar with.

I'm sure they do. I didn't say they don't. I said if you use a gun that pretty much does all the work and your effort is basically point and shoot then you aren't hunting in the traditional sense of the word. There are plenty of bow hunters out there still.

Well, Rule 12 as a whole pertains to sexually-based offenses. The reason why 12 was amended to include 12b is because Damo was concerned about liability, since the insinuation of pedophilia can perceivably cause damage to a person in a manner that other accusations might not.

We could always add a new rule against insinuating criminal behavior or criminal conspiracy.
