Recall that Watergate started with an actual crime. There was no shady Russian Dossier that provided the impetus for the Watergate investigation. I could go on. It’s a lame comparison. About the only thing you could say is they are/were both investigations lol.
I’m pretty sure Trump realizes the political downside to ending it. The best approach is to undermine Mueller. That’s where Sessions comes in.
