Why Mueller would have a loose cannon like him on his team baffles me.
I wouldn't be surprised if the charges were mysteriously dropped. Imagine that.

There’s two theories about Mueller’s motivation in loading his team the way he did.

The first is straight forward: it’s a partisan attempt at getting Trump aka witch hunt.

The second is that Mueller [like Strzok] knew ‘there’s no there, there’ so he purposely loaded his team with characters like Weissmann so when he cleared Trump, democrats won’t be able to cry foul about it.
