It would seem the only Americans who want to do something about the carnage against our children are those who put children's lives before guns...and those who have had their children/family gunned down in mass shootings.

The rest of you just keep repeating...what can be done? Nothing. Mass shootings are just a price we pay to uphold the 2nd Amendment. There is no number of deaths that will persuade them because we surpassed that number a long time ago.

Not an easy thing to do considering many states that vote Democratic still have a number of gun owners/supporters. Vermont can be an example. West Virginia has a Democratic Senator but is a pro-gun state. Not saying it's impossible by any means just saying it's going to be work.
 
We are a gun-sick society..this stuff didn't happen back when I was in school 60-70's
Now it's a common occurrence

if you say so BD.. I don't know . we aren't that far apart in age or where we grew up, I can't think of but a few people that owned guns, and they were criminals, or used them because they carried cash ( permitted)
