Trump Wants America's Kids to Eat More Salt?!!

Nix v. Hedden, 149 U.S. 304 (1893), was a decision by the Supreme Court of the United States that, under U.S. customs regulations, the tomato should be classified as a vegetable rather than a fruit.

.......per the Supreme Court

No, they're actually fruits.

That being said, catsup is a condiment full of sodium and sugar.... not exactly vegetable material. Nothing wrong with it as it's typically used -- a tablespoon or so here and there. But it's not a replacement for a serving of veggies.

Yeah, I used those types from the health food store back when I was in my 20's. I gave up, too expensive, found it better to just stick with tomatoes and/or salsa.

That's fine, but neither one tastes like ketchup. And salsa is also loaded with sodium. NTTAWWT.

I just make the salsa. What's ketchup leather?
Just like (any other;)) fruit leather only made from tomatoes and whatever spices you like. You can control the salt, sugar or honey you use...a creation from the chef at Plan Check in Los Angeles...
If you make salsa, you can make your own tomato paste, or ketchup...or ketchup leather. Homemade sriracha is great, as well..

Nope.
Like most things it is dosage dependent.

My father died from salt poisoning.

Um that's what I'm saying. You intake too much of anything and it has toxic effects. You consume too much protein without consuming fat, you can have protein poisoning. I hear tell that Polar bear liver has so much vitamin A, I believe, that a bite of it would be toxic. Too much water at a time, can dilute your blood, and burden the kidneys. A person died, back when, when they had an idiotic hold your wee, for a Wii contest.

Tomato is a fruit. If it bears from a flower bud it is a fruit. Cucumbers, squash, peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, are all fruit.

It's both Ms. Contrarian, lol. I posted a link from Oxford.

You're just arguing for the sake of it. Nobody with a brain in their heads considers any of those foods "fruit", including you. ;)
