Russians GOT IN to state voter information in 2016

DHS cyber chief: Russia 'successfully penetrated' some state voter rolls
By Brett Samuels - 02/07/18 05:00 PM EST

A U.S. cybersecurity official said Wednesday that Russia "successfully penetrated" the voter rolls in a small number of states in 2016.
Jeanette Manfra, the head of cybersecurity at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), told NBC News that Russia targeted 21 states and “an exceptionally small number of them were actually successfully penetrated.”

DHS previously notified the 21 states that Russia had attempted to hack their elections systems before the 2016 election.
It was Manfra who first revealed to the Senate Intelligence Community last June that the states had their systems targeted by Russian hackers ahead of the election.
It was previously known that voter registration databases in Arizona and Illinois were in fact breached by hackers. Alabama, California, Colorado, Wisconsin and Florida are among the others states that have confirmed they were targeted.

You just love hyping partisan crap huh? With absolutely no substance at all. This is all you have to get out of that article "U.S. officials told NBC there is no evidence any of the voter rolls were altered in any way".
Any rational person would have read it and moved on. Not you though. Beat that dead horse!

In America almost anyone can vote without having to prove they are a citizen, and states actually give official government IDs to aliens.

Russia's victory over you is nearly total, skankovich.

We will bury you.

Pentagon weighing options for U.S. military parade: Mattis

The U.S. official in charge of protecting American elections from hacking says the Russians successfully penetrated the voter registration rolls of several U.S. states prior to the 2016 presidential election.

In an exclusive interview with NBC News, Jeanette Manfra, the head of cybersecurity at the Department of Homeland Security, said she couldn't talk about classified information publicly, but in 2016, "We saw a targeting of 21 states and an exceptionally small number of them were actually successfully penetrated."

Jeh Johnson, who was DHS secretary during the Russian intrusions, said, "2016 was a wake-up call and now it's incumbent upon states and the Feds to do something about it before our democracy is attacked again."

"We were able to determine that the scanning and probing of voter registration databases was coming from the Russian government."

Levashov's arrest drew immediate attention after his wife told Russia's RT broadcaster he was linked to America's 2016 election hacking.
RT quoted Maria Levashova as saying armed police stormed into their apartment in Barcelona overnight, keeping her and her friend locked in a room for two hours while they quizzed Levashov. She said that when she spoke with her husband on the phone from the police station, he told her he was told he had created a computer virus that was "linked to Trump's election win."
