Mueller delays sentencing Flynn

poor silly Jarod, while pretending to be a lawyer thinks one can be impeached without being convicted; thinks fruit of the poisonous tree can still be used in an impeachment proceedings, and things that anything obtained in an investigation that begins with an illegal warrant might still be successfully used in court......luckily for Jarod's clients, he only does ambulance chasing cases......

Show me the rules of evidence for impeachment.

Show me the rules of evidence for impeachment.

It’s fundamentally a political process.

That’s why it’s critical that Mueller come up with collusion. Even if Mueller manages to bring an obstruction charge [a dubious proposition] Republicans aren’t going to impeach a president for obstructing an investigation that turned out to be a pointless exercise in futility.

The only ones that would be put out with it are the Trump deranged, and they are a decided minority.

In other words, if you don’t have collusion you have nothing.

Damn...you guys got some bad news today...didn't you? Strzok pushed to, and drafted the letter to Congress informing them of the new and improved Clinton investigation one week before the election.

ooops

You're fucking laughable they attempted to put that off until after the election but decided to cover their own asses, that doesn't help your case you laughable cunt:

Yes...the original 'nothingburger' that Strzok created, while the FBI remained silent on the ongoing trump/Russia investigation. That one.

Get educated you dumb bitch, they tried their hardest to delay it until after the election, but if they did and Trump won Comey could have been charged with perjury because he swore under oath that he would bring any new evidence to Congress:

We have the Strzok emails proving he sought to create an "insurance policy," the memo is dropping today and tomorrow and your deep state coup plotters are going to hang and they fucking know it.

There is no 'memo effect'. Mueller is going to squeeze every drop of blood out of Flynn, and others. There are plenty of insiders in the trump klan who will be stupid/frustrated enough to speak with Flynn, who is wired.

That's not how that works you fucking moron, you charge them with the biggest crime, then get them to confess to the entire conspiracy off the rip and offer them immunity in exchange for their testimony:

Nevertheless, as I explained in connection with George Papadopoulos (who also pled guilty in Mueller’s investigation for lying to the FBI), when a prosecutor has a cooperator who was an accomplice in a major criminal scheme, the cooperator is made to plead guilty to the scheme. This is critical because it proves the existence of the scheme. In his guilty-plea allocution (the part of a plea proceeding in which the defendant admits what he did that makes him guilty), the accomplice explains the scheme and the actions taken by himself and his co-conspirators to carry it out. This goes a long way toward proving the case against all of the subjects of the investigation.

That is not happening in Flynn’s situation. Instead, like Papadopoulos, he is being permitted to plead guilty to a mere process crime. A breaking report from ABC News indicates that Flynn is prepared to testify that Trump directed him to make contact with the Russians — initially to lay the groundwork for mutual efforts against ISIS in Syria. That, however, is exactly the sort of thing the incoming national-security adviser is supposed to do in a transition phase between administrations. If it were part of the basis for a “collusion” case arising out of Russia’s election meddling, then Flynn would not be pleading guilty to a process crime — he’d be pleading guilty to an espionage conspiracy.

Understand: If Flynn’s conversations with the Russian ambassador had evinced the existence of a quid pro quo collusion arrangement — that the Trump administration would ease or eliminate sanctions on Russia as a payback for Russia’s cyber-espionage against the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic party — it would have been completely appropriate, even urgently necessary, for the Obama Justice Department to investigate Flynn. But if that had happened, Mueller would not be permitting Flynn to settle the case with a single count of lying to FBI agents. Instead, we would be looking at a major conspiracy indictment, and Flynn would be made to plead to far more serious offenses if he wanted a deal — cooperation in exchange for sentencing leniency.

To the contrary, for all the furor, we have a small-potatoes plea in Flynn’s case — just as we did in Papadopoulos’s case, despite extensive “collusion” evidence. Meanwhile, the only major case Mueller has brought, against former Trump-campaign chairman Paul Manafort and an associate, has nothing to do with the 2016 election. It is becoming increasingly palpable that, whatever “collusion” means, there was no actionable, conspiratorial complicity by the Trump campaign in the Kremlin’s machinations.

the national review is right wing trash

what if it turns out all this right wing media has ties to Russian money too

If you were actually interested in Strzok (I hate having to spell that fucking name) the data is out there. He bashed everyone during the campaign. Most on the FBI are Republicans. But don't let the facts get in the way of your foil hat party.

Tell me which candidate is he on record of wanting an insurance policy on in case of victory? For which candidate did he open a Russian probe on? Who but Hillary did he jointly write with Comey, an exoneration letter for before the investigation was even complete? Spare me your bullshit. The memo is coming and the deepstate scum will hang for their attempted overthrow of the republic, watch your back bitch.

DEMS - law enforcement is racist. Also DEMS - don't undermine law enforcement
